Ottawa cosmetic dentist Dr. Ami Barakat will apply the patented PolaOffice + gel to the surface of your teeth for 15 minutes. This process is repeated three times and takes about an hour to complete. At the end of the session, your teeth will be visibly whiter. The PolaOffice + system delivers whiter teeth an average of eight shades brighter than before the procedure. Some patients see results up to 12 shades brighter than their pre-whitened teeth.

Pola Day At-Home Whitening System

Dentistry at Main also offers Pola Day at-home whitening treatments for patients who would rather brighten their teeth more gradually. Pola Day tooth whitening makes use of a tray whitening system. It uses trays created to fit your individual teeth perfectly, making it a highly effective take-home treatment.

The trays (upper and lower) are created from an impression of your teeth. You simply add a small amount of the gel to the tray and wear the tray for the prescribed amount of time. Dr. Barakat may recommend that you use a higher or lower concentration of whitening gel, which will determine the amount of time per day that you wear the trays.
